"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth...and the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good" (Genesis 1: 1, 12). "Wherefore all things which are good cometh of God" (Moroni 7:12).
It is my desire to see God every day. I just need to be more observant of all the good that comes from Him. He has told us, "Lift up your hearts and be glad, for I am in your midst" (D&C 29:5).
Today I saw God in the beauty of His creation. I was taking a walk in the mountains north of Mancos, CO. My husband, Mark, and I have a little cabin and some land there. I decided to see how many different wildflowers I could find. They are in bloom right now. It is a beautiful sight to see. We admire those who have a keen sense of decorating - those talented and gifted interior decorators. I want to show you the ultimate exterior decorator. God decorated this world for us to enjoy with the variety of His flowers and their beautiful colors, textures, and aromas. They open up our senses and enliven the soul. I saw God in His flowers today. How have you seen God today?
